Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH
. Candidates must have strong hands‑on expertise in AWS Glue and Lambda while performing development, functional testing, and cloud integration activities.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop, optimize, and maintain serverless data processing workflows using AWS Glue and AWS Lambda.
• Build and integrate cloud-native components to support scalable, high‑performance digital applications.
• Perform functional testing of AWS solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver end‑to‑end cloud solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance AWS Glue jobs, Lambda functions, and related cloud services.
• Implement best practices in AWS cloud architecture, including security, automation, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of industry experience, with hands‑on development using AWS Glue and AWS Lambda.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, including serverless architectures, data processing workflows, and AWS Mobile Services.
• Experience in functional testing of cloud‑based applications and ensuring high‑quality delivery in an Agile environment.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
