Join Fleet Ops as a Senior Frontend Developer and help build the next generation of fleet management technology
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team and help shape the future of fleet management technology with Fleet Ops.
About the RoleAs a Senior Frontend Developer at Fleet Ops, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining high-quality, responsive UI components for our fleet management platform
- Collaborating with our product team to implement intuitive interfaces for fleet managers, dispatchers, and drivers
- Developing mobile-optimized experiences for our driver-facing applications
- Optimizing application performance for real-time fleet tracking and compliance reporting
- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to our engineering culture
- Working with our Go and Python backend teams to integrate frontend experiences
- Infrastructure: Cloud-hosted with CI/CD automation
- Tools: Git, Docker, modern frontend build tools
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Experience with Svelte Kit, Svelte, or similar modern frontend frameworks
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Experience working with REST APIs and real-time data
- Understanding of transportation/logistics industry challenges (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Experience with fleet management or transportation software
- Knowledge of mapping libraries and geolocation features
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
- Understanding of backend technologies (Go, Python)
- Contributions to open source projects
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
