Software Engineer
Overview
An international software development company in the Columbus, Ohio area is now looking for Entry-Level Android Developer to join their office. This is direct-hire, full-time, and in-person role.
Responsibilities- Design and develop application for the Android platform
- Evaluate and analyze the systems to determine weaknesses and issues, potential improvements, application updates, etc.
- Provide training and assistance to other company personnel on system functions
- Support for technical issues on the end user level, and documentation of actions taken
- Prepare system function documentation and instruction materials
- Plan and implement system updates, as well as department projects and upgrades
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Android application development or In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) Systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer service / client relations ability
- Flexibility and willingness to collaborate in a multicultural environment
- Organizational and time management skills
This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
