Senior Software Engineer

Must be willing to work on-site 5 days/week.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our client's team in Columbus, Ohio and help build the future of their financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a specific focus on financial modules. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations to our core financial applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.

Your expertise in both client-side frameworks and C# will be critical to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain internal financial applications and systems that support the large-scale manufacturing and distribution business.
• Lead the development of new features and modules for our financial applications, from concept to deployment.
• Design and implement user interfaces in Vue.js
• Develop robust, back-end services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Work with financial systems, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and other related modules.
• Collaborate with business directors and technical team members to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of client applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in front-end development with Vue.js or React.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with C# and the .NET framework.
• Demonstrated experience working with and a deep understanding of financial systems, such as GL, AP, and AR.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL) and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices (CI/CD, automated testing).
• Experience with Kubernetes pods and deployments.
• Experience with financial systems such as Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or Quickbooks
