Position: Hybrid Senior Java Engineer for AML/Fraud Platform

10 is currently seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This position will be hybrid and will work onsite 4 days per week. This position can work in multiple locations - Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, and Minneapolis.

Compensation: $57.00 - $67.00 per hour, W2, depending on experience and skill level.

This role is for a Senior Programmer on an Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) enterprise Fraud software application, specifically Actimize Act One. The ideal candidate must have significant experience in developing applications and services using Java Springboot/Spring batch and API Development.

Responsibilities:

• Software development - code, test, debug, document and maintain Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) enterprise Fraud applications
• Devise and modify procedures to solve complex application problems considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
• Assist technical leadership in the analysis and review of existing or proposed system features and integration, security, scalability and performance requirements
• Assist in the evaluation and selection process for application packages, and advise on options, risk, cost/benefits and impacts on business processes
• Develop integration plans to apply knowledge of software architecture and ensure the incorporation of plans into the integration testing process
• Provide advice on complex system design issues and contribute to ongoing planning and development of system enhancements
• Identify and specify technical and functional requirements, resources and processes for complex sub-systems or major system modification required to meet user requirements
• Create prototype designs for complex and significant-risk projects
• Serve as third level support for ongoing maintenance and production issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or 4+ years of other related field/experience
• 5+ years of Java Development experience - Springboot/Spring batch, Maven, ANT, JPA/Hibernate, REACT and Angular JS
• 5+ years of Actimize experience - Act One Customization using Act One Designer, Plugin implementation, ETL development using AIS (Actimize Modeler), Application installation/upgrade, Act One 6.5/6.6 to Act One X conversion experience preferred, M&A conversion experience to convert data from an external app to Actimize
• 3+ years of API and Microservices development experience - REST API/JSON/Swagger, APIGEE Edge/X, FUSE, Kafka, Pub Sub or equivalent, Docker/Kubernetes
• 3+ years of SQL development (including writing optimized SQL queries, Stored procedures) using Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake

Desired skills:

• Must have worked in Agile/Scrum teams and must be familiar with the Agile/Scrum way of working
• Experience in Deploying applications on Cloud - Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk to evaluate the health of mission critical production applications and to identify root causes for performance and functional issues
• Experience in using ADO/Git Hub Repositories and Jenkins to deploy application builds and configurations
• Develop Custom batch processes using Zena
• Powershell/Bash scripting
• Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting skills - must be an excellent problem solver and very good at decision making
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
