Role Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Cover My Meds , you support engineers by creating highly automated services to make building, shipping, and running software as efficient as possible. You will build infrastructure that our technical teams use every day and scale those solutions to help millions of patients receive the medications they need to live healthy lives.
Responsibilities- Establish patterns for the deployment, testing, and delivery of our applications while ensuring security and compliance best practices.
- Drive improvements to our application development processes with automation and self-service tools.
- Innovate solutions with new technologies to modernize our technology stack, reduce risk, and build for lasting success.
- Diagnose complex system issues with multiple influencing factors.
- Automate and standardize everything, finding manual processes to eliminate.
- Document everything important you do for our infrastructure.
- Assist with development and coding tasks as needed to ensure successful and timely implementation.
- Participate in team on-call rotation.
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of Linux engineering experience.
- 2+ years of application development experience.
- 2+ years of containerization management and orchestration experience.
- Proven scripting/automation skills and building infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience learning new technologies quickly and independently.
- Proven experience finding obstacles and partnering with others to design and implement solutions.
- Priority given to candidates residing in Columbus, OH metropolitan area.

- A natural collaborator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- 2+ years Ruby, Rails, Ansible or Python coding experience.
- Hands‑on working experience on Dev Ops essential tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, ArgoCD.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools like Splunk or Panorama.
- Cloud experience in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
Our Base Pay Range for this position: $132,400 - $220,600. Compensation is determined by factors including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Base pay, annual bonus, and long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
