Position: AI / Generative AI Agent Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an AI / Generative AI Agent Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will build and deploy AI-powered agent solutions by designing orchestration frameworks and integrating LLM-based APIs to automate intelligent workflows.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI / Generative AI Agent Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven agents using LLM platforms and orchestration frameworks to automate complex workflows.
• Integrate AI/GenAI solutions with APIs and backend systems to enable intelligent decision-making and process automation.
• Develop and maintain scalable agent architectures using Python and agent-based frameworks.
• Optimize performance of AI agents through prompt engineering, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance AI agent performance to ensure reliability, accuracy, and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering with focus on Generative AI and agent development.
• Strong expertise in Python, LLM platforms, and building AI agents using orchestration frameworks.
• Proven experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, backend systems, and deploying scalable intelligent automation workflows.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
