Job Title: Java Developer

Role Overview:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications.
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS, along with strong database knowledge.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and implement microservices architecture for enterprise-level applications.
• Develop and manage event-driven systems using Kafka (producers, consumers, and streaming).
• Integrate applications with AWS services, including S3 and other core cloud components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices-based architecture.
• Proven experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, event-driven architecture).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (especially S3 and related services).
• Solid experience with relational and/or No

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design (RESTful services).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.

Columbus, OH (Onsite role)

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $140,000 annually or $60.00 – $70.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
