Learn Beyond Consulting LLC is looking for Senior React Developers for a 6‑month contract in Houston, TX. Candidates must be onsite and local.
Role OverviewDevelop Bloomberg‑style real‑time UI systems that support high‑volume equities derivatives trading. The focus is on performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain high‑performance front‑end applications using React + Type Script.
- Develop real‑time UI components powered by Web Sockets and streaming market data.
- Optimize complex, data‑heavy UI grids for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Integrate front‑end systems with internal APIs and real‑time data services.
- Implement robust state management using Redux.
- Contribute to test automation (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Partner with backend engineers, product teams, and trading stakeholders.
- Continuously improve UI performance, reliability, and usability in trading workflows.
- Evaluate and effectively use AI‑assisted code generation tools.
- 7+ years in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Type Script, and Redux.
- Hands‑on experience with real‑time data streaming/Web Sockets, high‑performance UI development, large‑scale data grids, and data‑heavy applications.
- Strong knowledge of API integration, performance tuning, and rendering optimization.
- Experience with Jest / React Testing Library and modern SDLC practices (CI/CD, testing, release cycles).
- Ability to understand how backend systems impact frontend performance, explain architecture decisions in dynamic UI systems, and handle real‑time data updates efficiently.
- Background in trading platforms / Fin Tech / capital markets environments.
- Experience building low‑latency, high‑frequency UI systems.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, code generation tools).
- Real‑time trading environment with extreme data throughput.
- Performance‑first engineering culture.
- Complex UI engineering (not basic CRUD apps).
- Exposure to front‑office financial systems.
- High visibility and immediate impact.
