MuleSoft Architect

• Design, develop, deploy, and support Mule Soft integration solutions using Mule ESB and AnyPoint Platform.
• Design and implement API‑led connectivity solutions aligned with enterprise integration standards.
• Develop APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, JMS, and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration services and APIs.
• Implement Mule Soft best practices and deliver solutions that meet defined business and technical requirements.
• Develop data transformations, validations, mappings, and business logic for enterprise integrations.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy integrations to Mule Soft‑based solutions.

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and application teams to design enterprise integration solutions.

• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to enterprise integration strategy and roadmap planning.
• Define and support API versioning, governance, lifecycle management, and integration standards.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and architectural best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers and integration team members.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration solutions.

• Configure, deploy, and support Mule Soft applications in Cloud Hub and hybrid environments.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for Mule Soft deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Maven, or similar technologies.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational support processes where appropriate.
• Configure and maintain Mule Soft development, testing, and deployment environments.
• Support integration platform upgrades, patching, and operational maintenance activities.

• Implement secure integration practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, encryption, and API security policies.
• Ensure integrations comply with enterprise security, governance, and operational standards.
• Implement exception handling, logging, auditing, and monitoring frameworks for enterprise integrations.
• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify reliability, scalability, and operational concerns.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production integration issues.
• Participate in critical incident response and production support activities as needed.
• Optimize Mule Soft applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and execute unit tests using MUnit and other testing frameworks covering both positive and negative scenarios.
• Perform data analysis, data profiling, and source‑to‑target mapping activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
• Manage assigned projects, priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Mule Soft Architect‑level certifications are strongly preferred.
• Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform and enterprise integration development.
• Strong experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience implementing API‑led connectivity and reusable integration frameworks.
• Strong experience building APIs and integrating with third‑party enterprise applications and platforms.
• Experience integrating Mule Soft with Salesforce and other cloud‑based systems is required.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy integrations to Mule Soft is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ESB architecture, Mule connectors, API Manager, Exchange, and RAML design.
