AI Agentic Engineer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Junior Level: AI Agentic Senior Technical Engineer for a hybrid 9-12 month contract opportunity with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This role will work on a hybrid schedule, 4 days per week on site. Candidates can work in multiple locations:
Columbus, OH;
Dallas, TX;
Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC. Compensation: $58.00 - $68.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for building AI agents, developing API integrations, and implementing Pub/Sub messaging solutions. The ideal candidate understands the full agentic AI development lifecycle and has experience developing AI-powered applications. Initially, the role focuses on building AI solutions for the Commercial Services Loan Operations team, with the expectation that these capabilities will eventually scale across the enterprise. This is a hands-on software development role that involves collaborating with other engineering teams.

Unlike the senior role, this position does not include stakeholder management or technical leadership responsibilities. The selected candidate will assume ownership of the current project during the handoff phase and continue development efforts. Core Requirements: 2+ years of software development experience 1-2 years of API development experience 1-2 years of Java development experience GCP and/or Google Cloud certification Professional software development experience required (recent graduates without industry experience will not be considered) AI development experience is a plus but not required Desired

Skills:

Azure experience AWS experience

Experience with Pub/Sub and event-driven architectures Strong communication and collaboration skills Banking or financial services experience (preferred, but not required) Leadership experience in this domain is a plus, but not required Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
