Salesforce Developer, App Developer - Mobile/Web
Brooksource’s public sector client is seeking an early-career Salesforce Developer to support the development and enhancement of Salesforce applications that help improve business operations across state agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch or grow their Salesforce career while learning from experienced developers and administrators.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is excited to grow within the Salesforce ecosystem through hands‑on experience and mentorship.
What You’ll Do:- Assist in developing, configuring, and enhancing Salesforce applications
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, administrators, and end users to implement solutions
- Build and customize Salesforce components, workflows, and automations
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
- Help maintain system documentation and technical specifications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project planning sessions
- Learn Salesforce development best practices and platform capabilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Software Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of software development or Salesforce experience
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to Salesforce through coursework, Trailhead, certifications, internships, or projects
- Experience with object‑oriented programming languages
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder coursework or certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
