Full‑time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary).
Hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and publish website content and web pages using CMS platforms, HTML, and CSS.
- Ensure all web content meets accessibility, usability, quality assurance, branding, and compliance standards (WCAG, Section 508).
- Collaborate with communications, IT, and program teams to create and optimize web content that aligns with agency priorities.
- Design and implement page layouts, graphics, and multimedia elements to enhance user experience.
- Monitor website performance, analytics, and SEO to improve visibility and responsiveness.
- Maintain version control and follow established workflows for publishing and approvals.
- Support the migration, testing, and launch of new sites, features, or redesigns.
- Stay current on emerging web technologies and accessibility best practices.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 36 months of combined work experience in software development, or 42 months for an associate degree, or 60 months of related experience, including at least 12 months in the primary technology specified in the job posting.
- Proficiency in content management systems (primary: Contentful, Cloudinary DAM), HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) and user experience principles.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with version control and publishing workflows.
