Backend Developer, Front End Developer, Web Developer
At Postali, our work is rooted in a simple belief: when our clients succeed, we succeed. We help law firms grow through thoughtful, strategic marketing tailored to real business goals. But just as important as our results is how we get there, together. In a fast-moving digital landscape, we rely on curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to learn from one another.
As a 2023 Columbus Business First Best Places to Work winner, we’re proud to be building a supportive, caring workplace where people feel valued, challenged, and excited to grow. We’re looking for teammates who want to do great work with good people, and who care as much about each other as they do about performance.
We are looking for a senior Word Press developer who is excited to build custom websites and connected marketing systems with the help of modern AI tools. You will combine deep Word Press expertise, strong engineering judgment and AI-assisted development to improve quality and solve meaningful technical problems. You will remain deeply hands‑on while evolving Postali’s theme frameworks, leading technical standards and owning the integrations that connect Word Press to CRMs, call tracking, advertising and analytics platforms.
Aboutthe Role
You will own technical direction across the full website lifecycle, from architecture and development through staging, migration, launch and ongoing optimization. You will also manage one in‑house developer and selected freelance partners, stay close to the work and have meaningful influence over our codebase, tools, standards and delivery process.
Your scope will extend beyond the website into the connected systems that help our clients generate, route and understand leads. This includes CRM and lead‑routing integrations, reporting data sources, API and webhook workflows, server‑side tracking and selected internal tools. The opportunity is to solve problems end to end, sometimes across Word Press, a database, a third‑party API and a client’s CRM, and to use AI wherever it can make that work faster, smarter or more reliable.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop page templates, reusable blocks and patterns, custom post types and taxonomies, admin fields, schema controls, navigation and breadcrumb logic, search, forms, video modules, dynamic content and other custom functionality.
- Maintain and evolve Postali’s Core and Crest theme codebases and shared component library, making sound decisions about what belongs in a reusable framework versus a client‑specific implementation.
- Own the complete website development lifecycle: technical discovery, estimation, local and staging setup, development, content and data migration, responsive QA, redirects, launch, rollback planning and post‑launch support.
- Use Git and Git Hub, local development environments and WP Engine staging and production workflows to manage version‑controlled, reviewable and reliable releases.
- Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, technical SEO, security and maintainability across the Word Press portfolio.
- Handle complex site enhancements, maintenance requests and technical QA for existing client websites, not only new builds.
- Design, build and support integrations among Word Press, Salesforce/Litify, Call Rail, Google Ads, Lawmatics, Zapier and other client or marketing platforms using APIs, webhooks, authentication, JSON and server‑side processes.
- Own the technical reliability of lead attribution and routing, including field mapping, event and source data, monitoring, troubleshooting and reconciliation across connected systems.
- Build and maintain Agency Analytics reporting templates and their underlying data connections for single‑location and multi‑location clients.
- Maintain and improve selected internal technical tools and scheduled processes, including billing and page‑speed workflows, when they require software engineering ownership.
- Set development standards, review code and technical approaches, mentor Postali’s internal developer, direct freelance development work and verify that releases meet functional and quality expectations.
- Create practical technical documentation for theme architecture, integrations, deployment,…
