Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY or Plano, TX or Columbus, OH or Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ

We are seeking a highly motivated Java Developer with strong backend expertise in Java The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience building scalable microservices, developing cloud‑native applications on AWS, and working with relational databases in enterprise environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and optimize applications leveraging PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.
• Deploy, manage, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Utilize ECS and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions.

• 8+ Years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience with ECS and Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting distributed applications in production environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event‑streaming platforms.
• Exposure to Spring AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $140,000 per annum. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
