Summary

The CBJ Fan Engagement Team members will serve as an integral part of the Columbus Blue Jackets efforts to bring the fun and excitement of the game of hockey to the Columbus community & across Ohio. This position will be responsible for assisting in various touchpoints with Blue Jackets fans including Mobile Tour events, team events & game night activations. Team members should have a dynamic and outgoing personality, be conversational by nature, and possess the ability to engage any audience.

The Fan Engagement Team must also promote the Columbus Blue Jackets’ brand and sales messaging with positive energy and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with mobile marketing events in the community such as fairs, festivals, concerts, and CBJ-driven community activations. Includes setup and clean-up of the mobile truck, loading and unloading equipment, staffing games & other activations, and interacting with fans.
  • Enhance the fan experience at various team events, including but not limited to the Draft Party, 5th Line 5K and Season Ticket Holder Events through various activations & interactions.
  • Execute various concourse activations & activities on game nights throughout the season designed to enhance the fan experience of fans of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Engage with fans in the arena and out in the community to promote sales messaging and other various CBJ affiliated programs designed to grow the game of hockey in Columbus.
  • This seasonal position will last through the remainder of the 25-26 season and into the offseason for the summer Mobile Tour, with an opportunity to return for the 26-27 season.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
