Position: Assistant Football Coach
Location: Hastings Middle School
Reports to: Athletic Director
Qualifications- Prior football playing or coaching experience required
- Prior collegiate football playing experience or high school coaching experience preferred
- Must be available to ride the bus to away matches; buses usually leave around 4pm and return after the matches around 9pm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of people and adjust coaching style based on the learning styles of the athletes
- Must value and display effort, communication, sportsmanship and fun
- Attends in-service training and staff meetings as needed
- Sanitizes and cleans equipment
- Inspects facilities and athletic courts for health and safety concerns
- Chaperones/supervises athletic events, as needed

WorkEnvironment
The work environment is a standard football field and other athletic event settings. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. The employee is regularly exposed to wet/humid and/or outdoor weather conditions and may be exposed to bodily fluids and/or blood borne pathogens.
