Light Duty Tow Driver - CDL Required

$1,500 Sign-on Bonus in State and $2,500 Sign-on Bonus Out of State

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a new team member for our growing family. The Light Duty Tow Truck Driver will operate a commercial towing and recovery vehicle with a GVWR of less than 25,999 lbs. and must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle and towing combination.

• Reliable, strong customer service and professional demeanor
• Ability to drive and perform duties interstate for towing, recovery, and transport
• Effective communication and collaboration with Dispatch
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, identifying mechanical issues
• Adhere to all safety and DOT regulations
• Report mechanical issues promptly
• Experience with software such as Samsara, GPS, Tow book is a plus
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism
• Operate towing and recovery vehicles across interstate routes
• Coordinate with Dispatch efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues
• Follow safety and DOT regulations
• Utilize relevant software tools

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• CDL Class A or B
• Relevant trade school certification in towing, recovery, or transport
• Minimum two years of relevant commercial driving experience
• Basic mechanical skills

Physical Requirements:

Involves lifting, crawling, pulling, frequent hand use, bending, reaching, climbing. Exposure to outdoor elements, mechanical parts, and noise. Must lift over 50 lbs without restrictions.
