Job SummaryThe Hotel Van Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and from designated locations safely and promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience. This role requires a focus on safety, punctuality, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Safely operate the hotel van to transport guests between the hotel and various destinations (e.g., airport, local attractions).
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring it is secured properly.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle, including checking tire pressure, oil levels, and other safety features; report any maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable both inside and out.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Provide information to guests regarding local attractions, hotel services, and other inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk or other departments regarding guest pick-up/drop-off times.
- Patrol the lot and report suspicious activity to the manager.
- Cleaning and/or stocking the stock room.

RequirementsPhysical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Ability to assist guests with luggage, including lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle checks, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Familiarity with the local area is a plus.
