Outbound Lead

* All qualified candidates will be required to complete a phone screen with Bluecrew prior to being schedule for a working interview.

Schedule details:

-Schedules are rolling, requiring employees to work 5 out of 7 days each week. Specific days and hours may vary based on business needs.

Required skills:

* Previous leadership experience required
* Forklift certification/experience required
* Previous warehouse experience
* Effective communication skills
* Good attitude and strong team player
* Working in cold storage environment
* Must be able to lift 35-60 lbs
* Must be able to operate pallet jack
* Ability to train and motivate a team

This job includes but is not limited to:

-Managing a team of Outbound Associates in performing the outbound process
-Overseeing the operations facility
-Stationing associates within the correct spots in the warehouse
-Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
-Ensuring packages are sent out for delivery each operating day
-Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items

These positions are to replace existing leads.

In terms of screening, please look for the following specific requirements:

• Punctuality and Flexibility:

  Prior warehousing experience is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Excel for data entry and inventory management.
• Communication:
  Strong communication skills are necessary for using Slack to coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and management.
• Equipment
  
  Experience:
  
  Forklift experience is required for loading and offloading trucks.
• Working Environment:
  Candidates should be comfortable working independently, as they will be alone in the warehouse for the majority of their shifts.
• Languages:
  
  Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.

Forklift

When working in a Forklift Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Independently operate a seated, stand-up, or cherry picker-type lift, depending on the position based on best safety practices and supervisor direction.
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Loading and unloading inventory in a safe and responsible manner
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Some jobs may require safety (steel-toed) boots
• If you have your certification, please be sure to bring it with you
