Production Assistant; Truck Driver

Overview

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking Production Assistants (Truck Drivers) to pick up and/or drop off donated goods (clothing, furniture and household items) at our warehouse, stores, donation boxes and at donor's homes.

The position will also help support The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center by providing an example of professional conduct, good work habits and reinforce positive habits and personal growth for men and women who need these skills.

• Complete a daily scheduled route as a Production Assistant (Truck Driver).
• Treat customers courteously and maintain a neat appearance as a representative of The Salvation Army.
• Perform a daily walk-around inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Keep the truck cab clean and orderly.
• Load and unload donated items at various locations, including donorship points, warehouses, stores, and donor homes.

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record and ability to pass a driving test.
• Ability to use an iPad, follow GPS, and have good communication and customer service skills.
