Yard Manager

Scaffold yard:
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the management of all yard employees and temporary yard labor.
- Inspect each delivery and return to ensure proper identification of items and accuracy of the counts.
- Responsible for the accuracy of all paperwork concerning any movement of equipment.
- Ensure proper receipt of all incoming equipment, including verification of counts, inspection of condition, and completion of required paperwork.
- Maintain equipment in an organized fashion (e.g., separation of equipment requiring maintenance, equipment to be charged to the customer, and equipment that is rent‑ready).
- Ensure that any damaged equipment is repaired properly.
- Account for equipment that is to be charged to the customer.
- Perform daily and weekly truck audits.
- Communicate inventory levels to management.
- Hold daily morning yard meetings to discuss daily objectives and safety issues.
- Monitor all preventive maintenance of yard equipment and completion of daily inspections.
- Maintain a well‑organized, safe premises.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
General duties:
- Successfully complete and understand Sunbelt's new hire orientation.
- Successfully complete and understand all required safety training.
- Train and develop yard personnel.
- Perform general housekeeping of warehouse and exterior premises on a weekly basis.
- Report any unsafe acts.
- Attend all required safety meetings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years' experience.
The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range$56,304.00 - $77,418.00 (starting rate may vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience).
