Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Local Driving Role

We are hiring a reliable CDL Class B Driver to operate commercial vehicles on residential and commercial routes in the Columbus area. This role involves safe vehicle operation in high-traffic and tight-space environments, supporting waste collection and transport operations while maintaining full DOT and company safety compliance.

• Operate Class B commercial vehicles on residential and commercial routes
• Safely collect, transport, and handle residential/commercial waste or bulk materials
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic safety checks
• Navigate tight driving conditions, congested streets, and varied job sites
• Follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies
• Complete required documentation, logs, and route assignments accurately
• Travel between the office and job sites as operationally required
• Support on-time route completion and service quality standards

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) – required
• DOT Medical Card (current or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years; no disqualifying DUI/OVI offenses)
• Ability to meet DOT and company driving eligibility standards
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must meet applicable minimum age requirements per DOT/company policy

• Prior experience operating Class B vehicles (sanitation, municipal, delivery, construction, or utility hauling)
• Experience driving in residential neighborhoods and high-traffic urban routes
  
  Familiarity with waste collection equipment and loading/unloading procedures
• Working knowledge of DOT compliance, inspections, and safe driving practices

• Local driving routes with daily return to dispatch
• Physically active role with frequent vehicle entry/exit and material handling
• No relocation assistance available; local candidates strongly preferred (30–45 min commute radius)
