Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Columbus, OH. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to haul and deliver materials to various job sites and customer locations. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, following designated routes, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch and site personnel, and adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.

The Truck Driver is expected to keep the vehicle clean, report maintenance issues promptly, and represent the company professionally with customers and the public.

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A or B license and a clean driving record, with proven Truck Driving experience in a commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to compliance with all safety and operational standards.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver a Truck in various weather, traffic, and site conditions, including tight or busy job sites.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time schedules, including possible overtime or varying shifts as required.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior truck driving, construction, or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and DOT medical examinations.
