Driver-Class A

This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies.

• Total compensation pay range: $28-$30/hr depending on experience.
• Weekly pay.
• Earn additional pay based on individual and team performance with the Monthly Production Incentive Compensation Program.

1st Shift Monday – Friday, with OT as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years over the road driving experience, a clean driving record with no license restrictions, can operate manual transmission, and is familiar with pre and post trip inspections using online log systems.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with all statutory, regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and forms, including manifest, shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Load and unload finished goods and raw ingredients; secure load during transit, including blocking and bracing.
• Utilize and/or learn the computerized system order to complete all transactions of shipments.
• Drive truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons, transporting materials to and from specified destinations.
• Distribute receipts for loads picked up.
• Occasionally collect payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
• Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Assist customers with the offloading process.
• Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively.
• Use good judgment in making decisions in emergency and routine situations.

• Current/Active CDL Class A License.
• Minimum two years of experience after CDL school.
• Must pass Driver's Testing.
• Must pass DOT Physical (M.E.C.) / Drug Testing (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). be proficient in English.
• Basic math skills to understand product weight and truck limits.
• Reasoning ability; must solve practical problems and follow instructions.
