Position OverviewThis is a tipped position. Delivery drivers are responsible for assisting with local deliveries, maintaining contact with the restaurants for instructions, and delivering orders in a safe, timely, and professional manner representative of the high standards of JRCE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS system.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Pick up and deliver at set locations.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and guest satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain the vehicle in a safe and clean condition.
- Be able to work in a sitting while driving, standing, and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Ability to stand and walk during 8 to 10‑hour shifts.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds and place items on high and low shelves.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Reinforce good driving behaviors by wearing seat belts at all times, never using handheld cell phones while driving, avoiding allowing others in the vehicle, and obeying all traffic laws.
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant and perform all related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to prove age of at least 21 years and possess a valid state driving license.
- Need reliable transportation to make deliveries.
- Strong time‑management and hospitality skills.
- Require a cell phone for calling guests upon arrival.
- Capable of reading a map and interpreting GPS directions.
- Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and make change.
- Maintain exceptional grooming and hygiene habits.

Reports to: General Manager
Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Prior hospitality experience is preferred. The candidate needs to be flexible, self‑motivated, positive, and have a professional attitude towards guests, co‑workers and management, and must also be able to perform all related duties as assigned.
