Class B Delivery Driver – Columbus, OH
The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a daily route of stops, unloading product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering merchandise to customer-designated locations. This position focuses on delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.
Work schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, or until the daily route is completed.
- Safely operate a 24' box truck (26,000 lb GVW)
- Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
- Properly track and document activity logs
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip
- Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL
B) - Ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam
- A good driving record
- At least 1 year of recent CDL B experience
- At least 1 year of route delivery experience
- At least 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Experience with lift gate operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
