Shipping Coordinator Ist Shift

Position: SHIPPING COORDINATOR IST SHIFT
POSITION SUMMARY

Help with the overall administrative functions of the shipping and receiving process.

POSITION DETAILS

* Creating Inbound Receipt for all incoming trailers

* Generating Outbound Shipping Documentation

* Reconciling Inbound and Outbound Documentation

* Warehouse Management System General Inquiry

* Create and Ship a Trailer

* Fed Ex and UPS Shipments

* Order Entry

* Wave/Order Creation

* Daily Reporting

* Regular Customer Interaction

Coordinate inbound and outbound truck traffic, including driver check-in/check-out, trailer seal verification, and dock documentation.

Administer bills of lading and shipping paperwork to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient freight movement.

* Proficient at data entry and typing

* Some Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Experience

* Familiar with Shipping and Receiving Documentation

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Access, Excel, Word

* Warehouse Management System experience1 year of related experience

* General understanding or knowledge of the transportation industry

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

* Experience in transportation planning

* Knowledge of shipping software

* The capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and verbal
