Overview
Gibson Electrical LLC is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you ll play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries of electrical supplies to our job sites and crews.
Responsibilities- Delivery Operations:
Safely and efficiently transport electrical supplies to various job sites, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate order fulfillment. - Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for safe operation. - Inventory Management:
Assist in receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the warehouse, including accurate record-keeping of stock levels. - Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with clients and prompt resolution of any delivery-related issues. - Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating delivery vehicles and working within the warehouse environment.
- Valid Driver s License:
Possess a valid driver s license with a clean driving record. - Clean/safe driving record
- Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations. - Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to accommodate delivery schedules. - Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and safe driving practices. - Customer Service
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries. - Time Management:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to safely and properly load and transfer heavy equipment with truck and trailer.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred.
