Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Columbus, OH. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

$1900 weekly average, with top drivers earning $ weekly.

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.67 per mile (1250 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $20.08 per stop (15-30 stops per week)
• Per Diem Pay: $51.25 per night (3-4 nights per week)
• Touch Freight Pay: $0.18 per piece (2000+ tire pieces per week)

  Monday – Friday
• Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Dispatch Window

• Deliver SOLO to OH, MI, IN, KY, WV, NY (Upstate) – No NYC and PA
• Tractor Type:
  Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters
• Trailer Type:
  Dry Van 53'
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful

  Touch – Tires

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
