Starting Pay: $20/hr to $20.99/hr

Schedule:

2:00 PM–12:00 AM OR 10:00 PM–8:00 AM

This is a union position with strong opportunities for career growth. You'll start as a Hostler Driver on the ground crew and receive on-the-job training. As you successfully complete training and qualify on additional equipment such as lifts and cranes, you can become eligible for pay increases and advancement.

• Operate hostler trucks and other yard equipment to move shipping containers
• Connect/disconnect hitches and air hoses
• Perform equipment inspections
• Work around railcars, cranes, and shipping containers
• Follow strict safety procedures
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Valid driver's license — CDL is not required
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, cold, and snow
• Ability to work swing/night shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Outdoor, delivery, forklift, CDL, landscaping, construction, or equipment experience is a plus

There is one onsite interview, and selected candidates will also need to complete the required background and pre-employment drug screening.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
