Help
Receive, process and distribute incoming and outgoing official mail and sort mail for distribution by identification of receiving organization. Maintain counts of materials dispatched and received.
Inspect mail by size, weight and class;
Assign United States Postal Service (USPS) rate according to applicable standards; and use computer-based mail metering system for processing.
Verify data on mail for accuracy, proper format and conformance to applicable standards and record and re-direct erroneously addressed or, mis-directed mail by class and/or type.
Operate a computer-based commercial carrier interface for outgoing official matter processing.
Print daily reports, performs daily backups, and provides accounting information and track, store and, distribute internal management documents.
Use a computer-based tracking system and handheld device for receiving of accountable items, entering new items, printing routing sheets, and to record deliveries.
Operate ½ ton truck/van or low speed electric vehicle in delivering and picking up mail.
