Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

This position is responsible for completing customer orders in an accurate, timely and efficient manner; as well as assisting in receiving inbound and shipping outbound freight.

• Ensuring warehouse and delivery associates work safely
• Ensuring the protection of Jendco Safety's product, equipment and property
• Adhering to all general forklift maintenance requirements
• Verifying delivery and walk-in order accuracy
• Ensuring that proper ordering techniques are being followed
• Validating current inventory levels for accuracy
• Pulling customer orders and double-checking customer orders pulled by other warehouse staff
• Receiving inbound shipments for stock
• Load customer vehicles for pick-up order
• Communicating with the appropriate staff member and customer regarding orders and shipments
• Training new warehouse staff members and temporary workers

• Forklift experience
• Experience in customer service
• Exceptional communication both verbal and non-verbal
• Prioritization and good time management
• Organization and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and teamwork
• Ability to work and get along with all different people and personality types
• Multi-tasking and comfort in a fast-paced environment
