Description

The Equipment Operator II is primarily responsible for use of powered equipment, such as cranes, turret trucks, and stock pickers. This role supports the flow of inventory through the distribution center and requires the majority of the work to be operating at heights of up to 40ft/12m or more. It also requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs/23kgs and to stand/walk for the duration of the shift.

The base salary for this position is $20.00/hr in addition, other benefits include:

Job Responsibilities
  • Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, accurately fulfill orders, and make necessary adjustments
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and other equipment as needed to complete job duties
  • Follow written, verbal, and computer‑delivered instructions accurately to perform assigned tasks
  • Identify inventory correctly and match product numbers to ensure proper handling and storage
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination for tasks requiring grasping, holding, or fine motor skills
  • Maintain accurate records and verify documentation to support inventory flow through the distribution center
  • Operate power equipment for the majority of working hours
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
  • When necessary, individually is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift with breaks
Minimum Salary

$20.00

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs/23kgs
  • Complete required power equipment training and obtain certification/licensure for high‑lift equipment (e.g., Turret Truck, Stock Pickers) upon hire
  • Comfortable on warehouse equipment at heights of 40ft/12m or more
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self‑motivated and team oriented
  • Ability to successfully complete pre‑employment drug screening
