Warehouse Associate

Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This position may also require making occasional deliveries in our company pickup truck. Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Columbus, OH location.

• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Make occasional deliveries in company pickup truck.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure that they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Pull orders for walk‑in customers.
• Provide warehouse support including shipping/receiving.
• Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.

• High School degree or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, through complete shift.
• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day; some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Forklift experience desired.
• Ability to communicate with co‑workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written).
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
