Position Overview
Site Training Coordinator provides training for employees on warehouse processes and equipment usage at a distribution center. The role also supports daily operations when not training.
Responsibilities- Facilitate on-the-job training for new, existing, and inexperienced employees on warehouse floor, forklift operation, and use of RF scanners and inventory systems.
- Train staff on safe use of powered industrial equipment, safety procedures, and operational processes.
- Maintain training logs and records; verify completion of training.
- Assist management in creating and revising training materials.
- Operate powered industrial equipment to move products: load, unload, store, stack, transport, and pick orders for shipment.
- Measure, weigh, count, and pack orders for LTL, TL, and parcel carriers; affix proper shipping and tracking labels and adherence to DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate, damage-free, and follow product rotation procedures.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms; review and analyze daily production reports.
- Participate in inventory/cycle counts; report missing items or quality variances.
- Perform daily safety inspections per the safety checklist on forklift trucks; ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
- Communicate and report incidents to supervisor; complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain a forklift operator license.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Action‑oriented, collaborative, decision‑quality, process optimization, and situational adaptability skills.
No Travel Required.
