Material Handler​/Cherry Picker Operator

The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family‑owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have a Material Handler position available in our Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio. Wasserstrom has new market pay rates.

The position requires a Monday‑Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed. First shift starts at 4am or 11am.

• Loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to the shipping/receiving platform.
• Picking, put‑away, and counting product from/to racking, in case or pallet quantities.
• Utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item, quantity, and location for picking and/or receiving.
• Operating multiple pieces of motorized equipment safely and properly.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• 1‑2 years of previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
