1st Shift Forklift Operator - Shipping

Stanley Black & Decker Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial tools and automotive repair solutions. This role supports our distribution and warehouse operations.

Receive, check, transport, locate, prepare, and ship products and materials.

• Load and unload trucks, verify shipping and receiving documents.
• Receive and check incoming product. Transport product to various areas of the facility.
• Prepare orders for shipment. Band/shroud and label as required, stage, and load.
• Replenish assigned pick locations with product from bulk storage.
• Pull product for ship bin replenishment.
• Perform administrative functions associated with the receipt, storage and shipment of goods, including verification of quantities, preparation of inventory and maintenance records, and utilization of distribution forms, reports, and referral documents.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and perform daily maintenance, as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a Mac Tools forklift license.
• Ability to learn and effectively use AS400 and JDA Warehouse Management System.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Must have good mathematical skills.

• Knowledge of tools, brands and product numbers is a plus.
• Prior PIV driving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

• Must be able to lift and maneuver 10 pounds 95% - 100% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 25 pounds 65% - 90% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds 35% - 60% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 70 pounds (with assistance) 5% - 30% of the shift.
• Must be able to walk and stand for the 8‑hour shift 65% - 90% of the time.

** All lifting and/or maneuvering performed must comply with the proper safety techniques established and communicated by The Stanley Works EH&S program.

On‑site critical position. Travel not required.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.26 - $26.12.
