1st Shift Forklift Operator - Shipping

Job Summary

Stanley Black & Decker Corporation is the largest tool manufacturer in the world. This role involves receiving, checking, transporting, locating, preparing, and shipping products and materials.

• Load and unload trucks, verify shipping and receiving documents.
• Receive and check incoming product, then transport it to various facility areas.
• Prepare orders for shipment, band/shroud and label as required, stage, and load.
• Replenish assigned pick locations with product from bulk storage.
• Pull product for ship bin replenishment.
• Perform administrative functions related to receipt, storage and shipment of goods; verify quantities, prepare inventory and maintenance records, and utilize distribution forms, reports, and referral documents.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and perform daily maintenance as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a Mac Tools forklift license.
• Ability to learn and effectively use AS400 and JDA Warehouse Management System.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with focus on accuracy and safety.
• Must have good mathematical skills.

• Knowledge of tools, brands and product numbers is a plus.
• Prior PIV driving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

• Must be able to lift and maneuver 10 pounds (95%–100%) in any range of motion combination for the 8‑hour shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 25 pounds (65%–90%) in any range of motion combination for the 8‑hour shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds (35%–60%) in any range of motion combination for the 8‑hour shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 70 pounds (5%–30%) with assistance in any range of motion combination for the 8‑hour shift.
• Must be able to walk and stand frequently (65%–90%) during the 8‑hour shift.

• On‑site critical position; travel not required.
• All walking and standing comply with proper safety techniques.

$24.26–$26.12 per hour, depending on location, level, and experience.
