Performs the clerical and administrative tasks associated with the shipments and inventory of products including report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure that shipping has support.
ShiftSchedule:
Day
Shift: Monday
- Friday 7am- 3:30pm (availability to flex when needed for business purposes)
Performs the clerical and administrative tasks associated with the shipments and inventory of products including report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure that shipping has support.
What are we looking for?- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 1+ year of manufacturing or warehousing experience
- Must have experience with SAP
- Competency in computer and PC software including MS Office (Outlook)
- Standing and walking on a concrete
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment (safety shoes, freezer coat/gloves and uniform)
- Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing or sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Knowledge of inventory control principles
- Experience working with vendors and carriers
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and WMS systems such as Red Prairie and Blue Yonder
- 3+ years of manufacturing or warehousing experience
Key Responsibilities ?
- Reconcile on-hand finished goods, commodity, and packaging inventories while troubleshooting and correcting various issues, inventory variances, double transactions, etc.
- Perform back flushes of daily production and quantities to maintain accuracy
- Liaison with departments by providing vital support to ensure all production and shipping needs are met.
- Become the shift expert on SAP, WMS, and Excel and train and provide support in the Logistics Department
- Willing to learn forklift
- Utilizing site inventory practices to perform necessary cycle counts to ensure physical inventory accuracy
- Starting Pay: $24.10/hour
