Record Center Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Record Center Specialist to join our team. This role involves physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward frequently throughout shifts. The primary responsibilities include moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh from 24 lbs. to over 100 lbs. Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.
ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
Lift, carry, and move/arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on uneven and concrete surfaces.
Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.
Operate a handheld scanner and climb ladders safely.
Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
QualificationsAbility to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Experience in operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
Work ScheduleNormal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
