2nd Shift Shipping and Receiving

Pelton Shepherd Industries in Stockton, CA is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Shipping and Receiving team member to support our manufacturing operations. You will load and unload trucks, verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role includes preparing shipping documents, using scanners and basic computer systems, staging products safely, and keeping the dock and warehouse organized.

You'll work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries for our cold chain customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify counts and condition of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare and review shipping documents and bills of lading
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment
• Use scanners and basic computer systems to record inventory movements
• Stage, label, and wrap pallets according to orders and schedules
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shipping and receiving areas
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines
• Report discrepancies, damages, and inventory issues promptly
• Follow all warehouse safety and quality procedures
