Material Handler
Location:
Southwest Columbus
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 / hour
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Material Handlers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will focus primarily on picking and packing inventory to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using order sheets or RF hand scanners.
- Pack, seal, and label items securely for shipping according to company standards.
- Inspect merchandise for damage or defects prior to packaging.
- Unload, move, and organize inventory within the warehouse using manual pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking/packing, or light industrial environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
