The QUIKRETE® Co., one of the largest manufacturers of packaged concrete products in the US and an innovative leader in the commercial building, home improvement products, and DOT industries is seeking a motivated & proactive Production Manager for our Columbus, TX location. We prioritize fostering a positive, collaborative environment where every team member is valued and treated with dignity.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in product production by championing safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your leadership will extend from overseeing manufacturing operations, managing materials, and supervising shipping processes.

• Responsible for the supervision of 40 employees across two shifts.
• Ensures products are manufactured to company standards and meet all quality control requirements.
• Schedules production in an efficient manner while ensuring that inventory levels are appropriate to meet customer requirements.
• Reviews accuracy of data for daily production reports.
• Establishes and maintains an accident free work environment.
• Ensures that plant machinery & equipment is in compliance with established company, OSHA/EPA policies & requirements.
• Maintains an organized and clean warehouse.
• Responsible for housekeeping in the production areas of the plant.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
• A four-year college degree preferred.
• Bi-lingual communication skills are a plus.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and be capable of communicating with maintenance personnel.
• Must be able to build, maintain and lead a teamwork type environment.
• Must be able to monitor and manage adequate inventory controls.
• Must have strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Must have good communication skills and work well with customers.
• Longevity in a building products or an industrial manufacturing background is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), JD Edwards experience preferred.
