Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician - Colwyn Bay

We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join a busy and professional workshop in Colwyn Bay.

As a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialist diagnostic equipment
• Accurately identifying and repairing vehicle faults
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles
• Working on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical systems
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
• Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
• Interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams and vehicle schematics
• Installing and fitting replacement parts and components
• Carrying out routine maintenance and workshop repairs
• Maintaining accurate records of diagnostics, repairs and servicing
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
• Providing professional support and clear explanations where required

We are looking for a skilled problem solver with a strong mechanical background.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and schematics
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle faults
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools confidently
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A professional and reliable attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team
