DescriptionThe Lead Billing Supervisor is a key member of the revenue cycle team. The Lead Billing Supervisor works closely with all staff members, physicians, patients, manage care companies and public.
Reports to: Assistant Revenue Cycle Manager
Responsibilities- supervised the billing department staff
- responsible for overseeing all department operations.
- Ensures all practice charges are received and submitted.
- Have regular contact with the practice administrators/office managers regarding work status, missing charges and other related issues.
- Responsible for obtaining weekly workflow updates from their billers to monitor status.
- Provide a weekly charge update to the Revenue Cycle Manage.
- Review the needs of the department and make staffing adjustments as necessary.
- Responsible for monitoring Paychex and approving time.
- Will maximize all billing opportunities.
- Assists Revenue cycle Manger in supervising the Billing Supervisors, billers and authorization specialists.

Position Requirements Qualifications- High school degree required
- Knowledge/skills/abilities: intermediate level of knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement.
- Ability to organize and coordinate assignments independently.
- Strong communications, interpersonal time management and organization skills. High level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy in interacting with patients, physicians, office staff and insurance carriers
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a billing supervisor/manager position.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and must have manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.

Salary Range $75,000-$82,500 annually
