Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus and benefits
Our client is a leading insurance agency operation that has grown and is continuing to expand across the East Coast into a thriving organization with multiple locations and ambitious plans for future growth.
They are seeking an HR Manager to lead HR for a growing workforce. This is a highly visible opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership, take ownership of the HR function, and help build scalable people practices as the business enters its next phase of growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a hands‑on environment, improving processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees alike.
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading all aspects of the employee lifecycle across a growing organization
- Managing employee relations, performance management, and leave administration
- Overseeing compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR compliance processes
- Supporting recruitment efforts, interviewing, offers, onboarding, and offboarding
- Managing HRIS systems and driving enhancements to HR processes and reporting
- Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives
- Supporting salary planning, compensation reviews, and employee development programs
- Managing employee records, licensing administration, and regulatory compliance
- Delivering HR reporting, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Helping build and shape the HR function as the organization continues to scale
Key requirements:
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience operating at the HR Manager level
- Experience managing a broad HR generalist function across employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and talent processes
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Experience supporting professional services, insurance, financial services, or similarly professional work environments preferred
- Confident self‑starter who can work independently and drive initiatives forward
- Warm, approachable HR professional with strong relationship‑building skills
- Strong business judgment, discretion, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities
- Commitment to creating a positive employee experience and building long‑term relationships
