Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus and benefits
Our client is a leading insurance agency operation that has grown and is continuing to expand across the East Coast into a thriving organization with multiple locations and ambitious plans for future growth.
They are seeking an HR Generalist to support HR for a growing workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to partner closely with leadership and the HR team while contributing across the full employee lifecycle as the business enters its next phase of growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, supporting employees and managers, and helping build scalable HR processes within a growing organization.
As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle across a growing organization
- Managing onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations activities
- Assisting with compensation, benefits, payroll, and leave administration processes
- Supporting recruitment efforts, interview coordination, offers, and new hire onboarding
- Managing HRIS data and helping maintain efficient HR processes and reporting
- Partnering with leadership and employees on HR-related matters and business initiatives
- Supporting salary planning, employee development, and workforce planning activities
- Managing employee records, licensing administration, and HR compliance requirements
- Assisting with HR reporting, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
Key requirements:
- 4-6 years of progressive HR experience within a generalist capacity
- Experience supporting employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and talent processes
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Experience supporting professional services, insurance, financial services, or similarly professional work environments preferred
- Recruitment experience strongly preferred
- Confident self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Warm, approachable HR professional with strong relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail, discretion, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to HR support
- Commitment to creating a positive employee experience and building long-term relationships
