Compensation rate $17–18

The Assembler at bren‑Tronics, part of Ener Sys and manufacturer of advanced power solutions, will be responsible for assembling electronic components accurately according to specifications and quality requirements.

• Perform basic manual assembly with little or no special tools.
• Assemble batteries, chargers and accessories following supervisor’s directions and work instructions.
• Apply tape, heat shrink sleeve, hot melt glue cells, strip wires, and apply tie wraps.
• Assist in applying labels to shipping boxes and/or packing products.
• Maintain assigned safety equipment.
• Maintain daily production quantity records.
• Report anomalies and damaged equipment.
• Consistently assemble daily expected quantities.

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year of experience in assembling or related work.
• Good hand/eye coordination for handling and assembling parts with precision.
• Ability to work on the production floor and comfortable working with electrical and mechanical components.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilos) on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or another employee.
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must wear mandatory personal protective equipment in the proper manner at all times.
• This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment; therefore, expect varying working conditions.
