Chemical Compounding Clerk

Radienz Living is a leading North American manufacturer of home and personal care products. As a Chemical Compounding Clerk, you will support the Chemical Compounding Department by ensuring the accurate documentation of production batch records, inventory transactions, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, organize, and maintain Batch Production Records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Company procedures and GMP/cGMP requirements.
  • Document batch manufacturing activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify that all compounding documentation is complete before releasing records for Quality review.
  • Maintain and review Quality Control Logbooks to ensure entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with established procedures.
  • Support the assignment and issuance of liquids (WIP/BULK) to the packaging lines.
  • Verify raw material lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities before compounding use.
  • Utilize the JDE inventory system or similar electronic inventory management systems to track material movement and inventory transactions.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or documentation issues to compounding supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), hygiene requirements, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a cGMP or FDA regulated industry.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures. Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Understand and follow formula instructions and able to communicate with cross functional departments.
  • Basic mathematical knowledge needed.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Work schedule may vary and could include evenings, weekends, or occasional overtime based on operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience documenting Batch Production Records.
  • Experience using inventory management systems (JDE preferred).
  • Knowledge of GMP and cGMP documentation practices.
  • Experience maintaining Quality Control Logbooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Regular use of hands, wrists, and arms may require fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and around compounding equipment and machinery.
  • Must be able to remain on foot for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in manufacturing, compounding, packaging, and warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Noise levels are typically moderate to high; hearing protection may be required in certain areas.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes must be worn as required.
  • Work pace may be fast with frequent deadlines and shifting priorities.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $19.04*. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
